Would now not be a particularly good time to be buying up UK registered LHD cars and sell them off in the Eurozone?

Strikes me that you'd be winning not only because we seem to have the cheapest second hand cars in Europe right now but also because the pound is so weak against the Euro.

Or are my elementary economics flawed?

and bikes too. Apparently, Eurozone are buying so many s/h British registered motorbikes that prices here have supposedly gone up!!

yep I know people who made big business doing this in the 80's.... however as usual its about who you know...

In the 80's it was the other way around... buying in Europe and selling here.

Why would one need good contacts?

Selling in the EC is just as easy as selling here surely?

A mate of mine in the trade is currently selling loads of Lotus Elises to customers in Europe. Didn't know but apparently they are RHD only (either that or the purists prefer it)
