I want to bid on something that ends when I cannot be in front of a computer.

Can anyone who has found a reliable, trustworthy & free ebay sniping service please recommend it?

TIA.

Gixen.com, no contest!

Free, reliable and been around for years.

BIG bonus is that you can pay a couple of quid a year (it's free otherwise) and get fault-tolerant Sniping. A second server duplicates the Snipe so any network errors that would have missed the fall of the hammer still gets your bid in.

NEVER let me down...

Bidnapper is one of the classic sniping tools ... has been around since 2001. I haven't used it for some years now but it worked very well when I last did.

Or the other option is to put your VERY maximum bid in that your happy to pay ,,, and hope for the best

I used Gixen in the end.

They bid 6 seconds before the end of the auction, which I won using every penny of my maximum bid, beating the competition by £1.86 on a £150+ item.

More than I expected to pay but within what I was prepared to pay & still a bargain.

Thanks to all for the help.
