Looking to give some TLC to the leather seats in an attempt to restore them to their former glory. They are black Nappa in a 2006 S211 E320cdi. Am a bit apprehensive about using the wrong products, are there any products that are preferred/recommended?

Bleach and wire wool?

Or lexol or any leather cleaning stuff will do really

Your leather will be sealed so don't bother with any conditioners but any proprietary cleaner (Dr Leather, Gliptone etc..) will work well. As would warm water and a mild wool detergent solution. Just don't soak the seats..
Make sure to vacuum the seats well beforehand, to remove any grit.

Have a look at the "Furniture Clinic" site, and if necessary give them a buzz, knowledgeable and friendly folk. No connection.

Thanks for the tips everyone.
