Need to book 4 nights in Paris in late June and 3 nights in Rome in early July.

Would like to be in 15 or 12 or 11 district in Paris.

Would like to be in the Monti district in Rome.

We are group of 3 (me, my 16 year old niece and 15 year old nephew - brother and sister).

1 room for all 3 if at all possible since cheaper.

So far, Novotel looks quite good for Montparnasse or Bercy.

Recommendations for Monti district in Rome would be great.

Anyone have any loyalty card or code to get a discount with Novotel?

Thanks mucho.

I know Paris, but not the hotels, reasonably well.

Were there any special reasons for choosing the 11,12 & 15 arrondissements?

I only ask as the 12th in my view is quite run-down in places. The 15th though is nice :)

The Metro is excellent, plus Paris is small, so getting around is quite quick regardless where you stay and wish to visit.

Roughly what's your budget?

TripAdvisor hasn't let me down yet. Something like this looks OK to me

Mate of mine who used to live there recommended 11, 12 and 15. His favourite is 15.

Don't want to spend more than £150 per night if I can possibly avoid it.

Yes I agree the 15th is nice, the 8th too, where I lived for a while.

If you're after somewhere quiet to sleep I'd avoid being too close to the boulevard peripherique or any other big boulevard for that matter. So check the map feature on TripAdvisor. You can also use Google StreetView to get a sample of the surroundings.
