Recording Calls (iPhone/Android?)

I need to record a phone call...

Barring the legalities... what is the easiest option? I don't mind paying for an app... but neither my iPhone nor my android is jailbroken/rooted...

Any ideas?

Borrow a dictaphone, put your phone on speaker and record the conversation.

Unfortunately - don't have that much time to prepare! A software solution is really the only one as I plan on having the call tonight (otherwise I would have bought the truecall SD card).

Actually... does anyone have a truecall unit with an SD card? I was wondering, do you know if a "normal" SD card works, or if you need a special one bought at 5x the price from them? (have a few cards at home... will try tonight)

Otherwise I may just use the android as a recorder and the iphone to make the call... not ideal, but heyho...

If your on a mac (And this is all completely untested of course), you could try installing something like bluephone elite, make your call through the mac, and record the audio with something like audio hijack: Rogue Amoeba | Audio Hijack Pro: Record Any Audio On Mac OS X

Again, completely untested, but you never know

For "one offs" they charge £1 a minute for calls they connect. Registered "account holders "appear to be a more reasonable 25p a minute
