That is rather nice indeed. The first red one I seen in the UK, have seen a few in the states. As mentioned already replica wheels.

No: it's definitely sub-6 seconds to 60.

It does stop like nothing else I've ever slammed the brakes on in though - emergency brake assist.

Can't really see how a car with such a history and owners could land up with a set of replica wheels.

Also if it was owned by the director of MB UK why on earth does it have a full specialist history and not an official MB one ???

I think those are the official MB numbers - they are usually conservative. Magazines usually shave a few tenths off - they usually figured the C43 at 6.1secs-ish. Same for my E500 - 6.1s according to MB, 5.7 or 5.8s according to the mags.

I can't remember now but I posted the Evo (?) review somewhere here - M3 vs C43 vs S4 - which, iirc, quoted 5.8 for the 0-60.

The wheels are 18s so I presume the originals got divorced from the car at some point and when the new owner wanted them back he 'upgraded' back to AMG Style II reps at 18? Doesn't speak much for the care shown to the car.
