Red Squirrel causes mot failure

Makes you wonder how long she leaves her car parked on her drive at a time.

I had rodent damage caused by the previous owner resting his car up so that he wouldn't exceed the mileage allowance of his Agility Contract, so it could happen with a squirrel.

Still, what is more embarrassing? Having a squirrel under your bonnet storing nuts, or declaring such on the WWW?

Seems like the poor squirrel's getting the blame for the failure even though the invoice implies that the cleaning out of the nuts was in addition to the MOT work.

The last time I had the engine cover off mine I spotted some horse chestnut shell and nut fragments under the injectors and glow plug leads. Access to remove them is rather difficult so unless the bushy-tailed tree rat has tidied up after itself they're still there.
