I Think with some time and patience silver can get some good gloss and reflection, Okay maybe not as much as black but still nothing to be shrugged at.

Also my daily driver is white so that has the same problem, even that has some nice shine though.

This is the only photo I have because it's the only time it's been this clean since ownership[emoji51]

Based on your your photos and list it inspired me to get my first lot of specialist detailing gear today . So a load of stuff from Slims (for once, nice to get it all from one specialist place, rather than the bazaar that is Amazon), not everything in the list but the basics to get my car looking better for Benz on the Green next weekend . Hopefully will get some decent glossy reflections from the Iridium Silver.

Well done have a great detail, please post the photos.

You would need to clay and prepare the paint to remove contaminates before applying to set you up towards getting a great finish.

Best regards,

Richard

Rear Quarter panel above the wheel still has wax on it hence why there is a haze.

Washed clay barred a quick once over with the DA ipa wipe down and coated in my brothers home brewed carnuba wax

These belong to a customer and are daily drivers, as such i have simply been washing from new and then its a coat of Sonax BSD added while wet. They get washed once per week, and thus waxed every week.
The customer is into his cars but not **** like me, so its a case of carrying out the basics here.
The result of waxing every week is akin to applying Gtechniq, but boy does it help in the washing and drying process.
Some shots in the sun today.

Love the silvers :)

I recently did mine with poorboys white diamond, and a coat of Sonax BSD, and topped it off with simoniz finishing wax.
Not the easiest wax to apply, actually it was hard work by hand but gave a good result in the end.
It's got a wet look to it now

And I get quite a nice tight bead with it, this is early morning after a heavy dew

A mate of mine has gave me some killerwax, says it's easy to apply and also buffs to a good shine with very little effort.
Will give this a go and hope it's a lot less polishing than the other stuff:D
Cheers

Here's my GLC reflecting in my neighbour's Sportage after I had detailed it with Soft99's astounding Fusso Coat Dark wax sealant.

and here's the GLC in the flesh wearing Blackfire's "Wet Ice Over Fire" kit consisting of their Wet Diamond paint sealant and Midnight Sun carnauba wax combination.

Mighty fine . I'd be very glad to get my Iridium Silver paintwork like that.
