Hi Guy's,

I have a W203 C200K with immaculate OEM wheel trims but the rims behind are looking a bit tatty. Can anyone give me any advice on the best process to tidy them up?

Thanks in advance

It should be the same process as painting any other steel surface.

Remove any loose paint and rust with a wire brush
Use a chemical rust remover/convertor to deal with anything that is left
If any parts need filling, rub down using 80 grit, degrease and fill, flat then prime
Any bare metal parts, prime with zinc rich primer
Rub down surface to be painted using 600 grit wet and dry
Degrease with panel wipe or white spirit
Quick going over with a tack cloth
Spray with aerosol black epoxy paint

Powder coating would be a good option... more durable... I was thinking about it for my Pagoda Wheels.

+1 for powder coating. Durable and long lasting finish.
