The consumer rights act 2015 comes into play here. if a fault develops within the first month you can reject the car outright, but, if it’s longer, you have to give them one attempt at a repair. if the fault recurs or they can’t fix it, you have a right to reject and get your money back.
ive done this twice.
 
Thanks for all the replies. cars booked in for Friday but the smell seems to be fading. I think perhaps some oil was spilled during the last top up
 
New as in 'brand new / first owner' or new as in new-to-you? MB dealer?

Given he got like 23k for it and they are selling it for 27k - no doubt the C63 isn't brand new :)
 
Im confused what has the part ex value got to do with the car he's buying 😐
