I went Celtic via PCS in Horndean. Would imagine Celtic have local-ish rep to you. Quick and easy and about £350 ish I think. Great power and economy gains on mine. Think you can input car on their site and see what you can get with emphasis on either economy or power gains..but I seem to have got plenty of both so maybe go power? No idea what it would do to yours but it seems great so far!

I have heard they give false figures also?

only way you will ever know is to get it completed on a rolling road so you have before and after firgures.

If I understand correctly from PCS rolling road figures are very unreliable..all sorts of technical reasons I won't repeat here - maybe they will comment...anyway, did my research and as far as can see Celtic are one of most reputable around.

Figures may be approximate but can safely say the remap has been brill...much better delivery through the range and a damned good consumption gain.

Fact that Ollie recommends them suggests to me it is legit. Given his reputation I'd be very surprised indeed if he was pushing a dud!

Just got my 2012 C220 remapped at my local garage, they quoted 45bhp gain although without a rolling road I'll take that with a pinch of salt. I have to say though it's the best £175 I've ever spent, the car was a pleasure to drive before the remap but now it's definately pulling stronger through the gears.

Happy days:D:D:D

There's only one cautionary note with Celtic; they won't give torque and power maps, i.e. rolling road printouts, even generic ones, for their generic remaps. One wonders why they're not prepared to do anything to substantiate their claimed gains.

Im interested to see what suggestions you get, I'm located in Hertfordshire withe a facelift W204 C220 and am looking to do the same, plus a possible gearbox update

GAD , Essex is probably your closest rolling road remapper

GAD are a good outfit and have just had a new RR fitted. You'll enjoy the drive back on the twisty road to the main network and they have a video games set up to keep you amused while you wait. Well worth giving them a call and discussing what you are looking for and what they recommend.

Celtic are more than up there reputably with the likes of GAD and MSL. Plenty of happy members on here who have taken the promotional offers from them during Benz On The Green

I’d be happy to get a Celtic map

Roundabout the norm for an AMG is it not?Similar figures

@Steve84N, any complaints with your Celtic map?

No problems with my Celtic Tuning remap and I immediately noticed the difference afterwards. I have no reason to dispute their claim, it's in line with other basic remaps for the M156 and it simply unlocks the factory potential of the engine.

They may not have dyno maps for all cars but there's one on the website for a C63. Instead of baseless accusations perhaps those throwing mud would like to elaborate...?

A stock 167bhp and 295 ftlb 220 CDI measures a generous 189.5 bhp and 322 ftlb on their dyno , a 250 CDI can easily measure less on GAD's realistic dyno .

If the stock result is overly generous so will the remaped result be !!

What makes it worse is they claim the difference is from 167 BHP and 295 ftlb .

It does not gain the claimed marketing lie of 48bhp and 68ftlb but really gains just 25.2 bhp and 40.7 ftlb .

What a con roping people in with bigger than average false claims .
