Remap near Norfolk?

Hi, I'm thinking about getting a remap (2014 C250 CDI) and I live in Norfolk. So when looking at who is nearby I've heard of GAD in Essex. They don't use a rolling road as far as I know, and I'm not sure this is ideal? Any advice on GAD or anyone else nearby?
I'm after a bit more power and mpg.

GAD are pretty well regarded and a lot of tuners won’t use a rolling road for a re-map unless you pay extra for it or it happens to be included in the deal.
As for someone in Norfolk, A few people I know have used Clive Atthowe engine tuning: VW & Audi specialist Norwich.Est 1982.

You don't get colour TV in Norkolk yet, so good luck getting an ECU remap

Seriously, best mapping is done live with the vehicle been driven on the road IMHO.

Did the people you know that used Clive Atthowe have Mercedes? I have heard that they are good but wasn't sure if it was just VAG they are good with.

Yeah I've been reading all sorts of stuff and going round in circles about weather a rolling road sesh is essential or not - woulld I be able to detect 15-20% increase in power via the 'butt dyno'? I suppose the mpg is easy enough to measure and possibly 15% can be felt but I've read I could be feeling a change in the power delivery rather that an increase in power... so I dunno. Suppose if the general consensus says a rolling road sesh is not essential then it's going to be cheaper so that's good!

Hey bud, I know 3 people that have had remaps done there , 2 bmw diesels and 1 Seat petrol but no mercs. I think his main specialty is VAG cars but he is a German car specialist in general , I had some diagnostic work done there a few years back on my old c class. When speaking to him beforehand he certainly seemed to have plenty of experience with mercs and I was more than happy with the work that he carried out for me.
Might be worth giving him a ring and see what he can offer.

Drop GAD tuning a note as they used to have an agent in Norwich. May well have been Clive Atthowe.

Mine and my friends cars have both been mapped by GAD (both AMG's). I couldn't recommend them enough, they actually produce a map for your car and your driving from the data they take off the ECU. They are not pre written plug and play maps, you would not be disappointed. Their C350 CDI courtesy car is a blast!!

These advertise in our local paper, as MERCEDES Specilists, they also mention remaps and tuning. Have not used them myself .

Aptunning are in Norwich ,they have an excellent reputation,they mapped my Mitsubishi evolution and do diesels as well ,have a look at there website
