Remap Options for 2014 E220 CDI W212 Estate

Hi All,

Picking up my first MB on Friday, coming from a fairly nippy 3.0l BMW E93. The wife is pregnant and I have a big dog, so the 2-door convertible just isn't suitable any more.

I've gone for a lovely E220 SE Estate (Found the seats and the ride much more comfortable than the Sport) which is certainly no slouch, but I know it won't be long before I'm craving a bit more power.

I happened to notice while lurking some posters stating that the latest E220's internals are identical to the E250's, and the only difference is software. Presumably then, the E220 can be remapped to E250 performance? I would imagine that the extra BHP and Torque would be quite noticeable.

What do you think? Is it worth exploring? Will the dealer be able to "detect" the map?

Any tips and recommendations would be appreciated.

Depending on where you are in UK, MSL did my remap in Birmingham.

There are a few other suppliers of Eurocharged remaps over the UK all depends which on you'd prefer to choose.

But for a good heads up, and to find out what you can expect to gain from a remap give ACID@MSL a call, he'll be able to answer any questions you may have mate.
