Remapping a standard C63 AMG… Wise thing to do?

I've driven both a standard car with no LSD and mine with Eurocharged map and Quaife diff. Mine without doubt puts the power down better. I rarely get the traction light. However I have also fitted decent tyres which helps.

Have said that the Hankooks that came off only have circa 2.5mm left on them and again rarely saw the light unless it was wet.

Quaiffe will be on my list…if I buy a C63 AMG….the remap also I think ;)

And yes you could have it mapped with the dongle which sounds as the easiest way for us as then you could also put it back to stock when going in for service as they might check.
Sounds nice to put the map back to OEM when needed… On the other hand; if your C63 AMG is not under warranty anymore (like most C63 in Belgium) what is the problem or consequence if my Mercedes service center would find out I have remap?

And you can always get longer warrenty with MB if you have it checked.
Noticing a mapped car will prevent that.

Also...if your engine fails outside warrenty and your car is stock with all maintenance done MB will still cover some part of the bill...
Small chance of possible failure but you never now.

Being able to flash it back to stock for same price is a plus for me.

Good to know…! Is your car from a Belgium owner… I presume you have bought it used? So I can get longer warranty with Mercedes…good to know..an indeed you never know.

You can always Post the ECU and get it mapped or drive Down to EC in Watford or US same Map
