Remote Locking for 300D

Having to lock/unlock car from boot - as both lock barrels in doors have gone. So I'm a little worried that boot barrel will go... I dont want to mess around with different keys for locks/ignition so I'm looking at fitting remote locking...

Any recommendations/tips/things to be aware of?

is this a W124?

if so i fitted a remote from eBay direct to the central locking pump on the drivers side under the rear seat squab and it works great.

it taps into the open and close wires on the pump.

this is the same kit (and seller) i purchased from and i can recommend!!
