REMOTE not unlocking car or locking SKL 350

Having trouble unlocking/locking car with both remote fobs
sometimes working, then i keep pressing lock/unlock.
Till i get fed up and leave it unlocked or drive back home

Why? You have a metal key, use that to lock it. Or am I missing something?

Is the aerial fitted on the left rear wing? It's required for the radio locking.
Does it work if you point the remote at the ir sensor in the right hand exterior door handle?

Of course you'd like to use it...but you said you would leave it unlocked if the fob didn't work...so I presumed you didn't know you had a metal key inside your fob.

My mistake...you're the smart one looking for help.

i did know key was located in fob,
but to unclip key from out of fob, unlock or lock car .
Just a pain to use metal key to unlock, then insert fob into ignition to start car,

Of course it is, it's for emergency use, for when the remote operation fails until you get it fixed.

Use metal key or leave car unlocked anywhere...it's a dilemma.

What year is the car?

With the ignition on, can you lock and unlock the doors from the central locking switch ion inside the cabin?

will try, its an 05 on a 55 plate,
just soooo annoying, sometimes fob works, then it doesn`t
