Remote

Had to have the remote key fob renewed for my w202 (1993)Original key and unit sent to scorpion for new fob. Got unit back and re-fitted but now when i unlock with remote all windows open as well.Tried to re-set unit by reading handbook i.e.press fob for short period then unlock/lock with key,No good.Apparently the instructions are for mercedes remote. Anyone got any ideas.Will try scorpion but haven't really got time as (s**ds)law, Ive got car in Autotrader for sale.

I seem to remember this happened once I disconnected/reconnected the car battery once.

how about disconnecting the car battery for a few mins (and the remote) and resetting it that way?

Just to update. All was o.k. with fob and reveiver unit. Apparently you need to wait for 30secs. after locking befor unlocking again, to allow unit to re-set.
