Silly question but, how do you do it?

I've got the squabs out but can't see how the folding backrests come out.

Any tips / guidance welcome.

With one seat down on the centre side of the seat slide the plastic trim on the side of the back upwards to reveal the hinge bracket. On the outside you have to remove the wheelhouse inner trim first to expose the hinge bearing the spindle has a retaining clip holding it into the bracket---remove this and that should release the seat sideways. ---AS PER W124 MANUAL|?? I'm sure Bolide will give you the real deal the next time he logs on.

Thanks.
(I'd use the 'Thanks' button but it vanished with the latest site update.)

All done, many thanks.
