Remove airmatic for coils on the rear of S213

Car is approaching 400 K as a taxi and I have changed both air bags on the rear recently and still have an issue which I just can’t afford to keep throwing money at. Somebody suggested removing the airmatic and replacing with coils.

What do I need to buy? Obviously I see coils online but do I need something for them to sit in? Do I need to get the airmatic coded out?

I don't know the details of your particular car but many with airbags do not have a sway bar and ARB links so all the fitting hardware is missing and has to be added at the same time as the springs.

Yours is not a rare car and I can't imagine you will be the first to fit this mod . I know MB have 'taxi spec' for some models .Post your VIN on here .

I realise my post gives more questions than answers , but you are going in the right direction looking for answers before spending more cash , good luck.
