Defected to Porsche but still love mercs. Last car W202, C200 sport.
Following on from my previous thread about replacing a headlamp lens...

...I've figured out removal of the clips and undone the screws so that I can remove the plastic trim below the headlight... but...

Before I can do this I need to remove the headlamp wiper arm so that I can pull the plastic trim away from the headlight to get at the clips holding the lens in place.

Question is: How do I remove the headlamp wiper arm? There don't seem to be any obvious screws, bolts or clips holding it in place.

Cheers

Adam

Lift up the cover on the wiper arm, unscrew the nut, and pull the headlight wiper arm from the spindle.

HTH.

Thanks - I'll give it a go. To be honest I didn't see any type of cover - it seemed to be a fully integrated unit including the washer system. Anyway, I'll have a look.

Thanks for the help. The cover was just stuck on so with a bit of leverage it came off.

Jim will fix it.:bannana: Or in this case Simon.:bannana:
