Removing paper residue from windscreen, ideas?

You seem rather keen on making people who have offended mechanical possessions do things.

I just don't like the idea of some scrote and their cheap gloss-lam leaflets putting them on parked cars, it's annoying. Had to take the door card off my van only last week where someone left a business card wedged on the drivers window which also got wet, turned to pulp and fell down below the glass

Looks more like the residue from a notice advising illegal parking - in which case, Ciaran's second suggestion is probably the best course of action!

People do judge you when you rock up in a van. I remember my dad popping in to collect his new CLK cabriolet years ago at Tony Purslow MB and receptionist watched him pull up all dirty after work in his van. She says "deliveries go to the rear of the building". His response was in not delivering I'm collecting. Her face went slightly red hahaha!

Quality! People are very quick to judge.

You can see part of a picture of one of the bottles on offer hanging from the dried part on the glass, haha

Only illegal parking that goes on in this car park is the bay next to me in yellow hatching is disabled, which everyone uses anyway and nothing gets done about it. I've moved my van a few times when the elderly have entered and have nowhere to park so they can have my space, I don't mind parking up the road

Have you never taken the label off a jam jar?

Our dishwasher takes them off effectively, but I've got into enough trouble in the past using ot for cleaning car parts that I know better than to try a whole car in there.

Judging by the leaflet, you must park in some really ****ty areas.

Would never have this problem at Waitrose ...............

Thank **** it wasn't blue tissue.

Don't you mean the less mobile?

Apologies- In my village the only drivers with disabled badges round here are all elderly, although where I park my car is the nearest to the shop by the 2nd disabled bay. The other disabled bay is opposite by the car park exit, so I do generally move my car also for the less mobile if I see them having to park round the other side

It was a joke mate. Although I'm beginning to realise there is no sense of humour or banter on here.

No, you just haven't learnt what banter is...and that wasn't. You come across as an over opinionated spoilt brat.

IMO :D

Unfortunately not it moved out a while ago when the PC and do gooders brigade moved in. Sign of the times in general I'm afraid, the whole UK is heading for a sense of humour bypass.
