Hi all, I'd like to fit a cd multichanger on my W210 & I'd assume the best way to run the control cable through the cabin is along the sill behind the carpet. From what I can gather by doing a search, does the sill trim just unclip? What's the best way to do this without damaging anything?

Cheers Jim

Yes the sill trim just unclips. Beneath there you will find that there are channels in which to run cables. That's what I did when I fitted SatNav to my bro-in-laws W202.

As for any tips, just be careful that you don't use too much force. Also try to lift it from a couple of places at the same time, supporting the sill trim as you go along (i.e. not trying to force / bend it).

Thanks for that, I'd kinda hoped there would be suitable channels already there :)

Cheers Jim
