Some little yobs have dented my beloved c220 any ideas on a quick fix for a small dent about the size of a fist.
The paintwork is fine no scratches or anything but its a definite clear dent ..

Thanks guys

Any of the usual commercial dent removal specialists will do. There's normally at least 2 in any area and charge anywhere from £20 to £60 per panel.

If it's the size of a fist I don't think it will be £20! Try and get someone who can show examples as it takes a lot of experience to get dents out properly and completely.

Any PDR (Paintless Dent Removal) specialist will be able to get that out.

I had a nasty dent in the roof of my CLC I had taken out by a local guy. Try google for your local area or ask nicely at any car dealership who they use, you may be able to get in touch direct.

I was thinking more diy to be honest ..anything to save a few quid !! Is it possible for a diy or is it a pro only job ???

If you have no experience in this area I would let the professionals do it as you can do more harm than good. Try find one that has a good reputation as the repair is only as good as the repairer

Exactly what I suggested earlier as it is quite a skilled job and they have specialist tools so that interior panels don't have to be taken off unnecessarily

I remember Father Ted doing his own dent removal.

I had a couple of small dents repaired by a relatively local guy using the PDR approach. Stood and watched hil work. Yuri Gellar cannot manipulate metal like this guy. To watch the panel slowly return to original shape was amazing. I paid £80 for a dent in the bonnet, and one in the drivers door. Well worth the money.

If you want a DIY option I would try heating the dent with a hair dryer and get the spot really hot, then (here's the magic) get a can of compressed air the type you can buy from PC world to clean the fluff out your computer. And apply straight onto the same heated spot and watch it pop out..... I've actually seen this done, try YouTube ..
Hope this helps.

Now you have a nice car pay for it to be done properly as every time you approach the car you will look for it and it will drive you mad, pay once and forget it you wont see it again. You can then sleep at night.

Yeah but it cost silly amounts

Not that expensive considering you don't have to go for a respray.

£60-£80 PDR cheap as chips, don't skimp as others say pay up sleep well, start messing about yourself then you'll pay
