removing sticky crud

I removed a cracked "Load protector" panel from my CLK and it's left all the double-sided foam tape crud behind..

What's the best way to remove it? (Probably not a razor as the bumper cover is plastic?)

Try WD40 and a plastic trim remover tool, or something similar if you don't have one of those.

I've left it soaking in WD40 overnight, and I think I can find some isopropanol from somewhere...
I'll let you know how I get on!

plastic trim removal tool and WD40, then polished etc. It's not perfect as there's some nicks and marks on the original bumper, but it's better than the split thing!

Ha! no.. garage. Just some cheap vinyl flooring I have down

I can thoroughly recommend Tardis - its a great product for tar and removing sticky residue. Leave it to soak for 20 mins and the residue should be very easy to shift.
