Repacement windscreen

Just had a replacement windscreen on my GLA45 and whilst its not an "AMG" screen it appears to be okay however driving this morning in the rain for the first time and my auto wipers don't seem to operate as early as they used to. Has anyone else had similar issues and can i change the sensitivity levels myself? I had to select full wipe as the intermittent was not working soon enough (and yes i had tried both intermittent settings)

I assume you mean OEM Original Equipment Manufacture and not “AMG”
Seems there are 3 options for glass: Dealer (100% as originally fitted to the car with all logos) OEM ( made by same companies as Dealer glass but without the Carl Benz/ G Daimler signature but with the same precision clips etc) or OEE Original Equipment Original. I would be happy with the first two but OEE manufacturers do not have the legal rights to make exact copies of the original screen so clips, shaded areas and tint may differ. I have read reports that some cheaper OEE screens throw up problems with cameras and sensors.

Did the windscreen fitter recalibrate the rain sensor after fitting the new screen?

If not, that's the problem. Go back to the fitting company and get the calibration done.
