Where are you based?
 
I don't see why any leather repair kit won't work for vinyl. The tricky part will be to match the colour.

I used COLOURLOCK products off Amazon. They are a bit pricey but work well. You can also look them up on YouTube:

I've just a made a repair to a small hole in a seat using a leather repair kit from Furniture Clinic.
Have to say, it was fairly simple to do and got a decent result.
(Matching the colour I found was quite easy)
