I need to replace my front discs on my 2002 AMG 32 SLK. Any sugessions for good or bad? . Also is there a good independent Mercedes garage for servicing in the Leicestershire area? Thanks
I know its not the same model but I have just had some 'sport' drilled discs fitted to my CLK 500, they work great, much less fade and they look very cool ! They fit the original calipers and pads and where only £ 8.00 each more than the standard parts ! Dont know if they do them for your model though ....
I have recently replaced the disks on my clk55 amg.
What I found was that because it is AMG I was not able to find (nor did I want) any non MB parts.
I was able to source them from ECP though for cheaper than the dealer could supply them.
I would,however, check with the dealer first as you can then play ECP off one another.
Just had a look at ECP and your discs are priced at £157.78 each.
After some haggling with ECP I managed to get my disks down to £135 each from an original £167.
