HI ...looks like I will need to replace the exhaust system on my 1994 R129 - I have been quoted £1000 parts and labour on a stainless steel system / lifetime guarantee from a specailist installer.... how does the price sound?

I had mine done by PD Gough in Nottingham about five years ago , IIRC was around £900 then , so allowing for inflation sounds about right .

MB would want a lot more for a mild steel system .
