replacing external b pillars

on my w2o2 i replaced the b pillars with black carbon fibre ones they were easy enough to come off i am hoping to do the same to the w203 how easy is the removal and wheres best to buy new pillars

I would have been interested to know this because on my previous car (a 203) I had one of the shiny black B pillar attachments going a bit rusty at the top..
It was the only bit of rust on the whole car..
I didn't realize they could be removed.

they tend to rust, the w203 and the w211 are similar.

on mine i had some bubbling at the bottom, so i took them off sanded the bubble down and then vynl wrapped them in 3m carbon fibre.

to take them off the outside window ledge has to come off and can be a pig to get off without scratching or damaging.

thats why iam removing mine theres a small bit of rust at the top
