I'm relacing the power steering pump on the car (A140) this weekend, and although i'm quite mechanically minded I haven't done this on a car before.

I can see the pump is under the reservoir and I will have to take a pipe off / I will obviously lose fluid.

My question is, after fitting the new pump / re-attaching the pipe and reservoir, is it just a matter of topping the reservoir up with new fluid or does the system have to be bled in some way ?:dk:

Cheers

bleeding the system is quite easy after replace pump and fluid start engine and move steering wheel full left then right a few times that should bleed the system but keep an eye on the fluid do not let it go empty keep topping it up

use the fluid called Pentosin. its greeny coloured
