I have an early W205 AMG Line with run flats fitted to the standard 18" 5 spoke rims, will this wheel be suitable for non run flats and if so would it be advisable to stick to MO spec tyres? The Conti's that it came fitted with don't seem as well stocked by dealers at the moment as Pirelli Cinturato P7's, is there a reason for that? I only need to replace the fronts but I'm tempted to swap the lot out for standard rubber given that standard tyres are about ¾'s of the price.

Runflat wheels are fine for normal tyres.
It's when you go the other way round you have problems.

Make sure you do all four together. Don't have two RFT and two non.

No need to stick with MO marked tyres.

There is no technical advantage to MO tyres, other than the feel-good factor (which is important to some - I bought MO tyres....). BUT - my experience is that MO tyres are not generally more expensive, so shop around before making a decision.

Tyre dealers tend to stock what ever they get the most discount on. Though I've found my local ATS usually has Continental MO's in stock.
