replica CLK DTM what an advert

It is done nice, but still only will appeal to a select few.

They always go to all that effort and then festoon it in eBay crap, every time!

I cannot see how a few wheel arches a cheap coil over set, some Ebay K&N's with a knocked up exhaust makes this worth any more than a std CLK55...
As for the 1995 Toyota @ £18+k.... So he sells 'Genuine' watches he has 2 replica cars ... Mmmm I'll stick to using my phone.

DB9s have started dropping into the very high 20s now and again if you look around. Might be coupe but at least real.
Imagine pulling up next to a real one at a set of lights?! I couldn't embarrass myself like that.
The CLK agree way over priced but kit looks good job?
Needs the seats though to make look more convincing?! They are as key as the arches.

I don't get it, all the work and ball ache of doing it and he puts a set of cheap ass rubbish wheels on it. Pretty much says a lot about the job in total.

It's all a waste of time anyway, corner hard a few times and it will crack the filler anyway

That, and if you wanted it to look like the real deal, you'd need to change the brakes as well, obvious from the smaller calipers.

seats and so on... Unless you're willing to spend £20k to do it proper don't bother at all in my opinion

For what it is? I think it looks very pretty and has obviously been well worked on. Not worth the money he is asking, for me. But who knows. These things often attract a certain niche buyer. Don't the quads stick out too far?

1,000 miles in 4 years maybe. But he doesn't say the total mileage anywhere does he?

Never a good sign.

Ant.

What's going on with the headlamp washers, I guess they couldn't get them to function with the new bumper and had to drill the nozzle though?

How awful ... Well spotted

I've seen a lot worse than that posted on this forum and it's based on a genuine AMG car.

You've got be a certain type of person to want to own a DTM to start with. I'd probably place that person in the same category as a Lamborghini driver. Not a shrinking violet.
