require info on diagnostic tools for 190e 1800cc 1992 fuel injection model main dealers say car is too old/ Car has diagnostic plug and car manual informs me of this car is very sluggish have change plugs /dizzy cap /rotor arm/ht leads/air filter -still sluggish is there a diagnostic tool out there for this car

You can do lots of tests on the early models with a automobile digital voltmeter with a duty cycle facility if you know what you are doing. Fluke do one but not cheap! I am sure there are others.
