reset the service indicator on a CL/S Class

Hi I have just got a 2009 CL which I plan to do an oil and filter change on so I am trying to find out how to reset the service indicator. I've tried the normal videos, press telephone and Ok etc and also looked on this forum but nothing is listed for the CL which I assume is the same as on an S Class.

Not 100% sure, but try ignition on, scroll to the page that says service in so many miles/days - once on that page press and hold the R button on the cluster - should change message to reset by pressing R - release R button and press again.

Brilliant that worKs. I think I was not waiting the 5 seconds before.

Coincidentally (I think) shortly after this I got ""Please start the engine, otherwise COMMAND will switch off in 3 minutes." and my stereo packs up after 3 mins unless I re-start. I'll start a new thread on that, if there is a connection let me know.

They all do this to conserve the battery power .
