I would try ebay, when I thought mine had failed I sourced this
Brand New Heater Blower Regulator Mercedes 2028207310 on eBay (end time 29-Jan-11 15:17:34 GMT)
The seller may well have the specific one for your car if you quote him the part number, and at about £40 brand new in the MB box (old stock) you really can't go wrong. In the end I didn't need it, it was my wiring that was making a poor connection (the crimped ends in the plug that connects to the motor from the 12V supply on the regulator had become loose and a sloppy fit).
