Restoring black painted satin roof bars

Any advice on a good single product to restore the finish on my black satin painted roof bars? They are on a W124 estate ...

Have posted elsewhere but with limited response.

Take them off and get them powder coated.
 
The bars on mine were quite faded. Almost a dull black/ grey.. so the black car polish seemed to work really well. For me anyways.

well i found an old bottle of black t cut and used this then finished it off with some dod do wax, seems to have come up quite good..
