Retractable Cup holder

Hi

can anyone help, i bought a rectratable cup holder the other day for my 230k class 1999 car... Now on the arm rest i have took out the plastic holder that was in there ( full of money ).... However the cupholder wont fit... just seems a liitle bit to big.. Am i doing anything wrong ????, Or is this meant to be a very tight fit ?

you need to push it down into the cavity until it clicks in firmly, and won't easily lift out.

They are only £23 or something from the stealership, was it much cheaper from mercman?

yes it was a little cheaper, there is no part number on it only letters pc/abs

Its just slightly too big....... well thats my thoughts anyway... i will sort a picture out....... and then see what u think
