Retro fit iPhone/Ipod connection?

I have the standard 2011 model audio connections i.e. USB & CD. I do not have COMAND.

Is there anyway to retrofit some sort of connection for my iPhone to play music through the head unit and display ID3 info?

At present there isnt any ipod/media interface kits available for model year 2012 vehicles! We expect them to be available soon though.

As I have a USB connection in my new C350 can I use this cable, part number A0018278404 to allow my iPhone/iPod to play through the headunit and control access via the steering wheel etc...??

No the standard USB connection that comes with Audio 20 doesnt support Ipod, you need media interface.

At the moment the only option you have is to use the aux input located next to the usb to play music via an ipod or iphone.
