Retrofit Analogue Clock W205

Looking into changing my Piano Black Console, to black wood effect with the Analogue Clock, not found any info yet if it was possible to wire the clock up, as I understand it the clock has 3 wires, 2 for power and 1 for the cars data system.

Has anyone successfully manged to retrofit a clock to a c-class w205? if so would really appricat a few pointers.

I’ve looked into this for my slc - it can be done.
You will need the clock and housing plus any additional trim.
Also the correct harness that plugs into the control unit (can’t remember which one)
Finally the control unit will need recoding for illumination/setting time.
All in all, a doer, but not cheap, which is why I haven’t done mine.
Let us know how it goes if you go ahead.

Thanks for the info Ted.

I have found a used as new console and clock with its original harness for £180 which i didn't think was bad. So guess its just getting it coded to my car.

Does anyone know what's needed todo this coding/pairing, I'm guessing main dealers will be expensive but someone with the correct gear could do it for much less.

Afraid I don’t know any up in your neck of the woods. The guys at comand.co.uk would be the most likely, but they are in Surrey.

You could bundle it in with some other coding changes perhaps? - show outside temp on all screens, eco stop/start remember last set etc etc.
