Can anyone help with information on retrofitting a tachometer to my 1987 W124 300D? - this is the first car I have had without one and I hate the big clock where the tachometer should be.

Thanks Dieselman - I have the tachometer from a W124 diesel so I now need to get the amplifier board and the crank sensor. Is it a difficult job to do? Mine is a manual btw.You will need a crank sensor and an amplifier board and obviously the tachometer.
