Alright all! Been a minute since I came here, but I'm happy to say that (Fingers Crossed) I'll be in ownership of a 1997 Pre-facelift C250TD Sport by Saturday evening!
My first MB was my parents Vito 111CDi but I can now finally say after having tried many other vehicles, I've settled on having a Mercedes after I drove a mate's W202 C200 for a few weeks...compared to the E36 I had, and all the previous cars I've had bar the V70 which I still miss so much, the C200 still felt solid and drove smoothly.
So now I've bullied my best friend into selling me his C250TD Sport for not a lot of money, I look forward to being active on these forums again amongst the few members whose names I remember and have helped me in the past,
Television, Dieselman, Glojo, Pammy, Shude, R2D2, grober, killerHertz...surprised I remember these names from the top of my head...!
So, my new steed the C250TD...She needs a clean, some paint and small bits of surface rust touched up, and a new rear radio aerial. It has original AMG alloys and joy of joys, working CC!
Let me know your thoughts...it's nice to be back!
