S211 Rev needle up and down!

Hi Guys,

Another day another problem, I have a 53 plate E220 CDI 115,000 miles and I notice the car rocks back and forth at around 30mph and again at 50mph(feel sea sick ). When it does this the rev counter needle is moving back and forth and not staying constant. I have checked the car and it doesnt have the dreaded Valeo Rad, I took it to an Indy at the weekend(not about this fault) and there was a very slight oil leak from the gearbox electronic plug(this didnt seem to concern the indy due to the slight amount) Any ideas>?

Fuel pump issue?

You have some sort of irregular running fault. A check witrh a star should show up the cause. It is probably an injector issue

Not really.

£150 for an injector plust a seal, bolt and fitting
