Reverse lamp switch

Hi all , According to my haynes manual the above switch is located under the centre consol, mine is worn as it only operates the lamps if you hold the gearstick right back (manual box) does anyone know the part number for a replacement. Car is 1988 300D

There is a possibility its the same as the W114 - 000 545 24 06
this was used aon all 107, 110, 111, 108, 116 series..

the R129 has the switch on the left of the lever - ish and is part number 201 545 00 14
and is used on:-
300e2.6 300e 124 (doh)
190e series (201)
LOADS (26 pages of) of 123 and 126

so that will be it then


none of the US E or S classes from the 124 or 126 have the manual transmission on the EPC so i cant look them up directly...

Got the switch out it's 201 545 0014 as you correctly said ,the local stealer say's it's on back order from the factory, god knows when I'll get one.

good news stealer phoned this afternoon to say factory said it would be at the dealers Vardy Continental Glasgow on Wednesday. :bannana:

Well it didnt quite make Wednesday. but it finally arrived due to the help of Martin at vardy continental Glasgow who managed to source one from a dealership down south. Well done Martin Thanks also to Andy for the pm
