Ride height?

My Missus has Arthritis in her spine and doesnt like a firm ride.
If I set the ride height to normal, its a bit too firm for her, its not bad but we have just changed from a Lexus LS430 which went down the road like a boat.
But if I set the ride to he middle setting, she likes it because its a bit softer and its higher for her to get in and ot of the car.
If I run permenantly with the suspension on the middle setting, could it do any damage?
I know it goes back down at a certain speed, but we dont often get up to these speeds (Not with her i the car anyway).
 
I'm not sure why the ride should become firmer by adjusting the ride height, the pressure in the air suspension is the same.
 
Also. make sure that tyre pressure (when cold) is kept at the lowest figure of the permissible range for the car.

Longer/shorter damping?
 
fatter tyres... example 16s instead of 17s :thumb:
 
Doubt they'd fit over the V12s brakes ?
