I hope no-one will mind if I share this....
Just returned from P.C.S. on a beautiful sunny day with my music playing gently and the recently fitted remanufactured engine humming along. It doesn't get much better than this I was thinking.
After the initial stress of discovery of a major problem with the original engine and absorbing the likely figure needed to put it right it was painless from there, as Olly took on the job in his expert fashion.
What a totally different experience from the usual and unpleasant "battle of wits" with a certain 'MB expert' garage I've used in the past!
Now on the final leg of the running-in process after a mandatory engine flush and oil change again carried out by Olly with no fuss whatsoever.
Here's hoping for more sunny days and good motoring!
