i have a c200 sport 95 im about to change the water pump and thermostat and do a coolant change and flush what type of coolant do i need for it will any type anti freeze do thanks

Basically 2 normal types blue or red, blue is the older type which may be in yours and the red is called oats organic something or other.

Blue should be replaced every 2 years red 4 to 5 years, becasue the corrosion inhibitors get weak.

The blue stuff tends to go green once in use and the red goes pinky.

Real technical description eh!

DM ive not seen yellow before, is that in a merc or another make renault etc?

Merc and Citroen both use yellow, not sure about any others.

I like the Comma stuff because it comfortably exceeds BS-6580-1992 whereas some makes only just make it, or even don't.

For anyone with a car witha marginal cooling system Comma Coldstream is a good product. It has a faster heat transfer so soaks more heat out of the engine.

Ah Citroen i should have known never had the pleasure! of working on one.

and finally any special tools i will need

A spanner for the block drain which is a largish plug underneath the exhaust manifold.

And getting the viscous fan off requires a spanner size 36mm, you'll also need a small tool to hold the pulley in place while u undo the viscous fan nut,

Small tool i use is called a hammer :D to bash the end of the viscous spanner a few sharp blows works in freeing off the fan hub.

I'm such a pussy when it comes to my own car, u will never catch me doing that to mine! :o

Thats nothing stubborn ones get a chisel on the nut as well:D a blunt one i should add so little damage just max shock value.
