I changed the discs the other week, and went to change the pads today.

I think EBC have sent me the wrong pads. Just to confirm, heres the new one on the left, compared to the old ones in the caliper:

New ones appear to have 2 holes for pins, the caliper only has 1 pin from what I can see.

They don't look right to me :(

Might sound like a silly question, but did you check the price of pads from a main dealer first?

If so, what was the difference in price out of interest?

They are definately the wrong pads. There are two types for E class rears, either single centre pin or two pins.

You should've upgraded to greenstuff, they definately have better bite and stopping power, and contrary to popular thought they wear the disks less as they have no metal content.

I thought you were going to get the green pads as mentioned in a previous post.
I was looking forward to getting your feedback as I need to change mine.

What made you change your mind ?????

No, I got the normal ones from EBC. Cost changed my mind, I have other priorities right now.

I'll contact EBC and insist they replace them with the correct ones, thanks. I gave them the bloody VIN and everything :(

One more thing, that pin was incredibly tight. Any tips on removing it?

As Pluggers said drift it out from behind. A set of brake punches are cheap and handy.
