How do you work out the tyre size to put onto a rim ?

Does anyone know of a website that outligns the sizes of tyres that can go onto a size of rim etc?

Do you mean how wide you can go rather than keeping the same rolling radius?

I always used the AMG wheel generator as a guide. Select the model and check out all the options.

You can go wider if it doesn't foul the arches, but 225 front and 255 rear (some guys run 265) is about as much as is recommended on most wheels.

Alternatively check the Brabus homepage click on Tuning, then select model, scroll down to Light Alloy wheels and each wheel is shown in all available widths and tyre sizes for that model.

on a w202 225/40/18 on the front and 255/35/18 is the largest recommended, althought i have had 235\40\18 on front and 265\35\18 on the rear!

hope that helps a bit!

w203 i know 19`s fit with ease!

Thanks everyone:bannana:
