Just saw what on ebay...??? Can't seem to see a link on the post.
RIM TAPE, Motorcycle Parts Accessories, Car Wheels, Tyres Trims, Car Tuning Styling items at low prices on eBay.co.uk
I think on a motorbike it looks ok, maybe not so good on a car.
Rim Tapes are normally used in the well of the wheel to cover the ends of the Spokes on Spoked /Wire Wheels. they are there to protect the Inner Tube from rubbing on the ends of the Spokes and puncturing.
Believe me, you don't need to see them - I just wondered if they protect or repel
From you I'll take that as a compliment. Another might regard your comment a suggestion to leave this forum.
+1 but I think these ones cover the edge of the tyre where the wheel joins.
I think (having seen them) that they are to decorate the rim...to give a go-faster stripe on the edge of the wheel just inside the outer rim. They'd work well on a black wheel.
