Hi so that is 2 great David's gone in a matter of days.I remember Juke Box Jury so well ,loved the intro music and of course David Jacobs.

I always felt he was a little too smooth a little too urbane for the pop scene. Rock and Pop in the early days always had a sexual energy to it ----a sense of rebellion. I got the impression this never sat easily with David Jacobs who always appeared slightly uncomfortable with the whole thing. A little too much Lord Reith and not enough Hendrix if you know what I mean. He was much more comfortable in his later career I felt than in the pop scene. RIP.

^ ^ What Grober said . He was not one of the cooler jocks by any means. Scary to think it was around 50 years ago that we used to watch him! RIP.
